Welcome to my Studio Study Series. Before beginning a new body of work, I love to explore different styles, colour palettes and compositions through smaller studies. These pieces are where ideas are born, a space to experiment freely and refine concepts before translating them onto larger canvases.

This time I chose to scale up and work on A2 fine textured paper, giving each study more depth and presence while still keeping that spontaneous energy that comes with experimentation.

Each piece captures part of my creative process, the early stages where I’m testing ideas, playing with balance and letting things naturally come together. For the first time I’m sharing a selection of these studies, and I hope they bring you the same sense of curiosity and joy that creating them has brought me. 🤍
